# Soft & Absorbent: Sourcing Towels
Phase 3 (Home Textiles).
## 1. GSM (Grams per Square Meter)
* **300-400 GSM:** Cheap, gym towel (Standard hotel).
* **400-600 GSM:** Good quality home towel.
* **600+ GSM:** Luxury (Heavy, takes forever to dry).
## 2. Materials
* **100% Cotton:** Standard.
* **Bamboo:** Antibacterial, soft, eco-friendly. Trending.
* **Microfiber:** Cheap, quick-dry, but feels "sticky" on skin.
## 3. Production Hub
* **Gaoyang (Hebei):** The "Hometown of Textiles". Massive volume, low prices.
* **Nantong (Jiangsu):** Higher quality home textiles.
## 4. Oeko-Tex Standard 100
* This certifies no harmful chemicals were used.
* **Mandatory** for selling in Europe/USA if you want to claim "Safe for Skin".
## Summary
Feel the "Hand". Some factories add excessive softener to samples to make them feel fluffy. Wash the sample once to see the real texture.
