# Bathroom Business: Sourcing Sanitary Ware
The Sanitary Ware hall is sleek, wet, and shiny. (Phase 1, Area B).
## 1. Key Categories
* **Ceramics:** Toilets (Smart & Standard), Basins.
* **Faucets & Brassware:** Mixers, Shower heads.
* **Shower Enclosures:** Glass cabins.
## 2. Production Hubs
* **Foshan:** The absolute king of ceramics and toilets.
* **Kaiping (Shuikou):** The "City of Faucets". If you buy taps, buy from Kaiping factories.
* **Wenzhou:** Also makes faucets, but generally lower cost/quality than Kaiping.
## 3. Technical Checks
* **Toilets:** Ask about the **Glazing**. Is the trapway fully glazed? (Prevents clogging). Ask about the **Flushing Mechanism** brand (Geberit or WDI?).
* **Faucets:** Ask about the **Cartridge** (Sedal/Kerox?). A bad cartridge means a leaky tap in 6 months. Ask about the **Brass content** (59% Brass is standard).
## 4. Smart Toilets
This market is booming.
* Look for features like: Auto-open seat, UV sterilization, and Kick-flush.
* *Warning:* Electronics in a wet environment fail easily. Ask about their PCB waterproofing rating (IP67?).
