1. GSM (Grams per Square Meter)

• 300-400 GSM: Cheap, gym towel (Standard hotel).
• 400-600 GSM: Good quality home towel.
• 600+ GSM: Luxury (Heavy, takes forever to dry).

2. Materials

• 100% Cotton: Standard.
• Bamboo: Antibacterial, soft, eco-friendly. Trending.
• Microfiber: Cheap, quick-dry, but feels "sticky" on skin.

3. Production Hub

• Gaoyang (Hebei): The "Hometown of Textiles". Massive volume, low prices.
• Nantong (Jiangsu): Higher quality home textiles.

4. Oeko-Tex Standard 100

• This certifies no harmful chemicals were used.
• Mandatory for selling in Europe/USA if you want to claim "Safe for Skin".

Summary

Feel the "Hand". Some factories add excessive softener to samples to make them feel fluffy. Wash the sample once to see the real texture.
