# The $1 Cable: Sourcing Mobile Accessories
This is the most saturated market at the fair. Phase 1 feels like an endless ocean of white iPhone cables.
## 1. Key Categories
* **Cables:** USB-C, Lightning (MFi Certified vs. Non-MFi).
* **Chargers:** GaN (Gallium Nitride) chargers are the standard now. 65W and 100W are hot.
* **Power Banks:** MagSafe wireless power banks.
* **Cases:** TPU, Silicone, Leather.
## 2. MFi Certification (Made for iPhone)
* **The Trap:** Many factories put the "MFi" logo on their booth.
* **The Check:** Ask for their MFi ID number. Verify it on Apple's public portal. If they sell you a non-MFi chip cable claiming it's MFi, your customers will get the "Accessory Not Supported" error in 2 months.
## 3. GaN Chargers
* Dongguan and Shenzhen are the hubs.
* **Safety:** Chargers can burn houses down. Insist on **UL / ETL** (for USA) or **CE-LVD** (for Europe).
* **Price:** If a 100W charger is $3.00, it is a fake. It's likely 20W inside a big shell.
## 4. MOQs
* **Custom Packaging:** The cable is cheap ($1). The box is expensive. MOQs for custom retail packaging are usually 3,000 units.
* **Neutral:** You can buy "Neutral" (no logo) packaging for 100 units.
## Summary
Volume is key. You make pennies per unit. Focus on **GaN Tech** and **Magnetic Wireless Carts**鈥攖hat's where the margin is.
