# License to Grill: Sourcing BBQ Products
Phase 2. Often mixed with Gardening.
## 1. Key Categories
* **Gas Grills:** Stainless steel behemoths.
* **Kamado (Ceramic):** The "Green Egg" style. Very heavy, great for slow cooking.
* **Fire Pits:** Metal bowls for wood burning.
## 2. Safety (Gas)
* **Certifications:** CE (Euro) or CSA/ETL (North America) are MANDATORY for gas valves.
* **Testing:** Factories test 100% of gas valves for leaks. Ask to see the testing station.
## 3. Steel Gauge
* Touch the lid. Does it flex?
* Cheap grills use thin steel (0.6mm). Good grills use 1.0mm+. Thin steel warps under high heat.
## 4. Production Hub
* **Yangjiang:** Also makes BBQ tools.
* **Guangdong:** Most gas grill factories are here.
## Summary
Flat-packing is an art here. A huge grill must fit in a small box for shipping. Check the assembly manual ease.
